Using current technologies and industry standard software coupled with art design principles; students will sharpen their problem solving and critical thinking abilities. -History of animation -Digital Photography -Animation principles -Game design -Animation 2D/3D -Digital portfolios 6th Computer Art (not offered 2015/16) 6th Grade Computer Art is a 9-week course designed to introduce students to computer art with emphasis on Adobe Photoshop Elements. Students will be introduced to file management, copyright ethics, digital art, scanning, digital photography, drawing tablets, and discover how animation is created. Elementary Computer Art All elementary is on the six day resource rotation and is strongly encouraged to have a USB pen drive to save files as backup. Students are permitted to bring personal headphones. Students will learn the basics on a Mac, typing skills, animation, Abobe Photoshop, work with tablets, game design and more. A signed computer lab student agreement must be returned to Mrs. Jones to be permitted to use the computer lab. Students will be assigned the same computer and tablet for the length of the corse.
