Elementary Computer Art
All content will be looked at from a fine arts perspective that focuses on the elements and principles of art in todays digital world. Students will explore Photoshop CS6, Flash CS6, KeyNote, tablets, and bamboo docks to gain basic knowledge of the equipment and software before starting on projects. Students will also learn file management, MAC 101, hot keys, internet safety, in addition to honing typing skills and computer proficiency.
Wacky Faces!
A montage is an assortment of images combined together on the same artwork. It's a college of elements to create a unified piece. We will us .png's and Photoshop to create a Wacky Face to learn how to us Photo Montage in Photoshop. Animation UnitStudents will learn basic concepts of animation Photoshop CS6 and Adobe Flash CS6. Depending on which grade level they are in will dictate which programs will be used.

What are they? A machine-readable code consisting of an array of black and white squares, typically used for storing URLs or other information for reading by the camera on a smartphone. Originally created and used in Japan in the car industry in the 1990’s. To Create: To create your own QR code go to a site like https://www.the-qrcode-generator.com and simply put in your URL and it will generate a QR code. To Read: To read the QR codes, simply download and app like QRreader and scan the QR code on a device like a smart phone or an iPad. |
